I got this in an email from my lad:
" I appreciate your quick response to the directive from my boss to pay you the sum of $500,000.00 as compesation towards your past efforts in receiving the overdue fund which you were unfortunately could not received before he found an investor from Australia that assisted him the payment of some fees before the total fund was transfered to his investors bank account."

So the question is? Did they scam someone for fees or are they making it up? And if they did scam someone, would the best action be to get the lad's bank information and send it to alan? Thanks again.

Making it up, John - that is a standard script, targeting potential victims who will think, "Well, why not?" He/she/they may have sucked in victims with it before, but the email itself is nonsense.

Bait away, and if you come across bank information - real or fake - just let us know.
