Apologies. Not quite sure HOW that happened! I guess I assumed that a thread that was quite near the top of the list was recent...I'll have to pay more attention.

this can happen, if someone posts (the thread gets on top again), you see it, write a posting, and in the time between accessing the thread by you and sending the posting, the other one deletes his post (which can be done by user as long as a posting is unanswered). by deleting the posting, the thread drops back to its former position. |

Ahhh, I wondered if something like that might have happened.
Ah well, it's not as if I'm not a n00b anyway, so looking like one isn't so bad |
