HEY --- I Logon this morning and find this !!!!!!

When we first stated talking about this - three months ago ? - all the European Mods said that they couldn't make it and I said there was no way that I was travelling all that way alone.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought all you Euro mods had a PM loop going to organize this. I know SOOI booked his ticket over a month ago, I just assumed you did too. I feel just awful.

Look, I don't have enough United miles left to cover an international ticket, but it someone else here (or more than one) has some miles they could contribute there's just barely enough time to book a seat. I'd be happy to help if I can. It just won't be the same without your magic tricks and silly voices (that always cracks up us Yankees!).

Just let me know if I can help with flier miles.

ETA: I hate to bring it up but I'm a bit crabby this morning, since it seems our newest mod can't quite tell the difference between the letter P and the letter J.........

I haven't decided if I'm going to drive or just take the train in. Parking is such a headache, but the last train heading to my neck of the woods leaves Union Station at around midnight. I can always meet up with the early arrivals for a while after work tomorrow too!

If my flight's on time I expect to get to the hotel around 6 or so. Despite Jen's rebuffing my invite in favor of Perry I'm still amenable to meeting anyone in the bar. I know you don't drink, Sophie, but that's cool. We can still have a nice chat over some club soda. Anyone else is invited as well. Just PM or call, or ask for me at the desk.

I will be arriving Friday afternoon. Janet will joining us Saturday night. She's cool with everything but still, maybe ixnay on going into detail with her what happened last time. Whatever though.

I think I am going to be a stick in the mud but you all know I am 6 months sober. However, I cannot keep using that as an excuse. The wife and I have not gone swinging in a while and it's starting to take its toll.

Look - I've slept on things and feel better after speaking to some of the other European Mods by PM. I know that I fell out with some of you after I screwed up the settings on the Invisible_Mod_Bot but I thought that was history.

Anyways .... I've got a shed load of things to do on the meet day which I honestly can't change so I'll stop home and think about you all.

ETA .... thanks for offering to help me out with the flight. (better late than never ... but too late !)

the phone is supposed to be waterproof. Apparently the cocktails did not contain very much "water". Had a little spill. Just picked up a new one from the Verizon store, so it should work now.

Looks like I'll be getting out of work around 5ish today. With Friday traffic, it'll take me about half an hour to an hour to get there.

Just send me a pm with the where/when info, and I'll head straight out from work. I will either have to stop to get something to eat on the way, or grab something down there.

I'm at the airport cooling my heels, waiting to board. But the flight is on-time so I'll expect to get to the hotel somewhere between 5:30 and 6:30.

Hi everyone, am at the Beefaroo in S. Beloit. I don't know why I stop here every time I pass through, they have the worst burgers EVAH. I forgot it's spring break for a lot of schools next week so 94/90 has been horrendous. I should still be in by suppertime though.

This was a good idea using the forum to contact everyone, since some of us seem to be so careless with our phones Smile
