In order to get one lad trophy I'd really love to see without having to get off of my lazy butt myself (and also to demonstrate my obscene wealth), I'd like to start a contest.
I will be giving away two premium memberships to the two best lad reenactments of the famous "this is Spartaaa!" scene. This is the original (skip to 1:16 to see the key scene - as if you hadn't seen it before).
The rules are as follows:
- No old-timers - you must have joined Eater on or after 1 December 2011.
- You may use any lad you're currently baiting, or pick up new ones.
- You may submit as many entries as you like.
- Your lad(s) must reenact at least the "this is Sparta" scene. Bonus points for the reenactment of any dialogue before that.
- Both still images and videos are acceptable. Videos will be rated higher.
- Videos must show one lad being kicked into a hole/ditch/canyon by another lad who's screaming "dis na Naijaaa!". Still images must show the lad in in free fall. (We do want to make sure it did hurt after all.)
- No photochops or other cheats.
- Submissions must be posted in this thread until 30 April 23:59:59 GMT.
- After that there will be an open poll to decide the most popular submissions. I will pick the two submissions I like best (awarding bonus points as promised above) and declare them the winners. My choice may or may not coincide with the result of the poll.
- Submissions in which the lad being kicked breaks an arm or a leg automatically win right away. (Just kidding.
 Or am I?)
- The winner and the runner-up both win one year of premium membership for themselves or any other Eater member of their choosing. If you've already gone gold, your premium membership will be extended by a year.
Arbitrary rule changes and additions - just because I can:
- Bonus points if Klaasvaak states here that he likes your submission, or if SOOI rants about how much he hates it.
- Up to two additional premium memberships to anybody whose lad manages to include a wheelie bin in their video.
- Contest runs till the end of April (was: end of March).

^^ I'd say that's up to the baiter. I could imagine asking for a picture of the lad so you know what he looks like, and only then telling the lad about the plans for "419, the 300 sequel" and demanding that he be the kickee. But I really didn't want to write that down in the rules and make them even more complicated than they already are. 
I doubt that can ever be established with 100% certainty. But I reckon that if the lad gets somebody else to take the hit, the kick will either be of the wimpy kind, in which there's not much damage done... or there'll be some sort of compensation involved for which the lad will be held responsible by the kickee. It's a risk I'm willing to take.
