Did not seem this belonged in General Scambaiting so I'll ask here.
Don't want to point out my reasons as that would probably point to my real world ID if someone wanted to look hard if you guys know of one, but my trust me my intentions are part curiosity/part professional and totally benign.
Actually I guess you could say I would inform other of it...
But anyway I was curious if anyone had ever run a scam with ghosts/Bigfoot/aliens/psychics etc etc etc...
It seems it would be an easy thing to do as some people are into that and if they believe they won a lottery then never bought a ticket for then they may buy this sort of thing too... |

The African lads do believe in ghosts, magic, juju etc etc i baited a lad whos script was I have cursed you, pay me X dolla to remove curse........
So yeah I don't see why certain super natural baiting wouldn't work |

The OP seems to be asking whether there are or have been any SCAMS involving the supernatural rather than any BAITS. My inclination would be to say unlikely given the scattergun approach of scams. Being specific is going to cut out a great many potential victims I would have thought. That's why although there are many variations of scam I would say they essentially involve either money or sex/romance? |

They mostly use religion when appealing to a potential victim's spiritual inclinations.
I've found magic is a one way street when it comes to lads. Theirs is all powerful and shoots thunder and lighting. (from their bottoms mainly)
My phantasms and spectres, warning me of a lad's true motivations are usually put down to drink or too much cheese before bedtime by various bars or loan agents.   |

I've had a couple of scam formats where the perpetrator was claiming to be a great witchdoctor who could cure everything from cancer and marital problems to ingrowing toenails.
They are not too baitable though because they just want money up front. |

Hmmm. A demand for money up front can always be transmuted, as if by magic, into requests for bank account details 
I'm tormenting two different juju lads at the moment. One even has a friend/satisfied customer emailing me with advice to pay up quickly before the jujuman gets REALLY angry.  |
