 Hi there,
I'm new here  can anyone help please. I have sent 3 PMs and they are all in my outbox not in my sent box
How do I send them out, am I doing something crazy wrong

I have three messages in my outbox. All are to people who have been on line since I sent them. One is info about someone who may need to be warned which I sent to a mod.
When you get a message, the site pops up a window (or tries to) and sends you an email. How can you ignore that?! |

@the lure: sometimes people only pop in to sort something; especially the mods. They might be too busy to answer your particular request, even though it is hard to ignore.
The amount of pop-ups could be overwhelming and in that case, they prioritise their volunteer work. |

When anyone signs up there's an option to have a popup appear when there's a new message. A lot of people don't click that, so they have to look at the top panel to see if it says "new" next to messages. Apparently a lot of people don't do that, either...
In any event, a PM will remain in the outbox until the recipient opens it, then it will appear in your sent box. I'm sure they'll find yours eventually. |
