A family member had a scam attempted. That's the name given.

The fake money order came from France for something my family member had listed for sale here in Canada, $2200 above asking price with a bunch of instructions. Scam of course.

Where was the item listed? I know on Amazon, some scammers will make up an e-mail that looks identical to the ones Amazon sends out to trick the sellers into thinking they have bought the item.

Oooh yeah there's alot of scams on kijiji. My favourite are the ones who sell cars on there for an unreal price, and then the warning bells ring when you message them and they tell you it's stored somewhere in the states... ha ha ha! Your family member didn't send anything...did they?
