Little late there...
But really, this totally sucks. I know they might have had some illegal stuff on there,.but it sucks for people, like starting music artists, who would upload their music there for people to download. Also, opening MegaUpload's website scares the hell out of me. That federal notice is like straight out of Orwell's books... |

Was news to me though. I only found out because I wrote some software for my dad and went to upload it for him. |

Filesonic have also disabled all filesharing - you can only download your own files, luckily I found out just before my account auto renewed.
I have mixed feelings - on one hand there goes the freedom of the internet, on the other hand, as Mr Dotcom showed, some people were getting very rich by enabling mass copyright infringement. |
