I don't have the time, or the smarts to do it myself, but I DO have contact details for what I have confirmed is definitely a Nigerian scammer and would LOVE it if someone who does have the time and the smarts to stick it to them would.

The Yahoo messenger ID is cohen.marissa71. He/she is posing as a gal from Colorado springs, co on one of the many hookup sites. I looked, but the profile is now gone so I guess I wasn't the first one that they tried to scam and the site admins deleted the profile, but I am sure if someone just added them in Yahoo messenger and went from there they would have no problem getting things going.

A few details, yes, I was on a hookup site, looking for sex only, this person first contacted me, with a profile having pics of a very sexy woman. He/she didn't do much to my reply other than give the Yahoo contact info, so I added. We chatted last night, during the entire chat I wondered why he/she/it didn't quite understand what I was actually saying. Especially since "she" kept asking for info that was specifically listed in my profile, to cut it short, finally I bluntly said all I want is sex, to which "she..eventually replied that we weren't looking for the same thing.

Since I am basically a nice guy, I saw "her" online tonight and told her to go ahead and delete me from her contacts list, but don't be surprised if I kept checking her profile every now and then, as I AM a guy, and the pics are of a VERY sexy woman, short story, after numerous back and forths where it was totally obvious "she" was having trouble comprehending what I was saying, "she" actually stated, "we are not compatible, I told you I was in Nigeria".
LOL, Yahoo messenger actually saves every chat you have unless you tell it not too, I looked it up..nope, never a word about being in Nigeria, the only location info ever discussed was along the lines of "yes, we are only a few miles away...".

I then screwed up, I accused "her" of boing a Nigerian scammer, informed her I was going to report "her" profile to the website admins etc....the worst part...I then remembered this website and sent a message stating that I had changed my mind and was going to give "her" contact info to a website that specializes in dealing with people like "her".

As you can see, I only registered here tonight, just so I could make this post, so I hadn't read the part about NOT telling them about this site, I apologize.

However, since we first chatted just last night and "she" didn't remember ever talking to me less than 24 hours later, I think that a few days wait, "she" will forget our entire conversation again and make some great scam bait for those of you that enjoy doing it and know what you are doing.

If anyone does take on this scammer and has any luck, I would LOVE to hear about the results.

Thanks, I stumbled on to this site years ago and really enjoyed all the stories and pics of how you all turned the tides on the scammers, remember thinking at the time how I wished I had the time....and the smarts...to do the same. I read every story posted back then...about 5 year ago...LMAO, and it must have really stuck as I not only remembered the site existed, but actually remembered the name even after all these years. Hats off to all of you, I LOVE what you are doing and just wish I could do the same.

You may want also to post the info you have at www.scamwarners.com. That way, if anyone searches the same name/info about the scammer, they can find it and be forewarned. If you're unsure how to post details, just PM a mod and they'll help, or just ask here -- we're a friendly bunch!

Wish I could post more details than I already have, but since the profile has been deleted all I have is the Yahoo contact info I have already given.

I do remember that the profile pics all matched, same "gal" wearing all pink in one showing her abs from the front, and another pic, definitely same person, in a darker shirt and pink shorts, showing a very nice and prominent "backside".....
