Everytime I have ever heard 'wanker' I always assumed it was British slang for 'asshole.'
For example, Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) used it a few times on LOST and it seemed to infer this meaning.

Only reason I had any clue that wanker is an insult was from being a member here.Now cockwallet on the other hand just sounds insulting whether you have ever heard it or not Very Happy

Cockwallet is a slang term for the C word and is higher up the scale of abuse than a Fuckwit (apparently).

I tend to use words like 'cad, bounder, rotter, waster & stinker' myself of course.

That is only for special occasions - mostly, I just refer to people as 'Chowderheads'....this keeps me out of trouble.

There's no insult there, they are all terms of endearment.

Cockwallet, ha ha, I missed those massively repetitious and generously overused witty remarks from the squirrel, glad to be back.

I use "Bonehead" as a insult/term of indearment. I invented it during personal involvement with my 2nd wife's kiddo's.

For months now I have been introducing the famous 'tambambling' word into my baits, now I shall be using 'cockwallet' as well - just to see if I get any scripts back including them.

Shan't bother using using 'wanker' though as all lads are anyway!

I've used the phrase capricious cockwallet and the terms w***er and tos**r during office meetings.
