Hi everyone Smile

as you can most probably guess ... I'm new here Very Happy

Thought I'd better say hi, and oh my what a great site you have here.
Being a small business owner in the UK i do get my fair share of dodgy emails ... normally viagra, russian babes, and the odd African dictators son trying to smuggle out his mothers secret cupcake recipes Laughing

60% of the time i ignore, other times I send begging letters back, or wind them up, much to my other halfs annoyance (which only makes it more funny as she deals with most of my emails, so she has to read all the spam to see if i am playing with them or not lol)
It was a friend of the other half that pointed me here, so Im going to sit back and have a read, hopefully I can contribute with the fun and games soon,
until then, keep up the great work everyone

Glad you found the site! Please do read the stickies especially concerning safe baiting. This basically means baiting the lads using completely fake details. You may also want to apply for a handy dandy 100% risky free mentor.

Hi I have joined after the Nigerian date scammers tryed my friends and I a second time!!! I now mail everyone they have contacted on fb and messenger and warn them as other contactas and subscriptions are often visable.They use two first names quiteoften and dont seem to be able to answer a basic knock knock joke either.
The heart ache they can cause to a lonely person who thinks they have found a freind and then get asked for money for a sick child etc is very damaging to vunerable people.
Please join me and let all your facebook messenger and other online friends know how to spot these scammers.They say ok and hun and are unable to speak in anthing but african english grammar - no flow usually to their speech .
Ask them to ring you!!
Tell them you know someone who lives near them who will add them and pop round etc.

Hi all!

I've been lurking for a while, enjoying reading about the daring exploits of our distinguished senior colleagues.

Being an ardent enemy of scammers, phishers, internet frauds and injustice in general, it seemed to me as a great idea to become the Masked Avenger and use your ideas and priceless experience to play with the minds of the "mugu guyman" boys and girls, or "lads and ladettes" as you call them.

So, to make a long story short, thanks to you all who would lend me a hand and tips to battle the lads world wide!

Thanks for a warm welcome, Benjamin, I will try to do my best to give them hell, as you said:)!

I've been reading (gulping is a better word) everything I could find on the forum on the subject of baiting, scams, etc., and I hope all the info will prove to be as helpful as priceless! Although I am new here, I know a trick or two, if I may say so myself, so I will be a tough nut to crack Smile

I will keep you updated on the progress of my Operation Chinese New Year, because the bait began yesterday, on the Chinese New Year;).

Of course, I cannot reveal any more intel on this matter for time being, we can never be too sure who is reading these pages. Call me paranoid if you wish, but there might be a mugu lurking about right now.

Hi everyone!

I'm totally new to all this! I came across this place after watching a tv show about illegal money lenders preying on vulnerable people. the show featured a young man who found a 'money lender' online who just required a 'small deposit' in order to secure a loan. turns out this 'money lender' was in Nigeria!

Anyway the show sparked my interest and after doing a bit of research I came across you guys!!

Im still reading all the stickies and info ye have put together and I look forward to bagging myself a few trophies etc!

Hi. The name is Toy Mauler, comes from my old tagger crew back in the day. Sorry about the lack of an avatar I seem to be running into difficulty adding one from my android tab. Sad

Anyway doing this sort of thing (scam baiting) is something I've been pandering about inside my head for a while now and recently my mom almost got scammed so I decided to finally give it a go.

She had replied to an ad about getting her car wrapped in an ad for $200 a week. Pretty sweet deal really. The guy sent her the obligatory check in the mail for an advance payment well above her actual cut and asked she WU the rest to some guy to drive out and place the ad on her vehicle. Needless to say, and if she had told me beforehand the check was bogus. Luckily she banked with the same bank the bogus check was printed for and they caught it before she was out $2000.

So this is going to be the first guy I go after. After searching for tips on how to mess with scammers I found this forum with all of its many great tips which I can use to screw with the bastard for trying to mess with my mom. And hopefully many more after him as well.

Earlier this month I signed up on match.com to try the world of Internet dating. It wasn't long before a woman from my home town winked at me. I sent her a message and she comes back with a yahoo address to email her. Next thing I know I am emailing a woman in Russia. I thought that was very odd. We have been talking for almost two weeks now and today she says she is in love with me.
She sends me lots of pictures and I sent her one or two of me and my dog. Since I know this is a scam attempt I decided to play along with it. So I was scam baiting before I knew what it was called. Right now I am hoping to get a nude picture of her. She is beautiful in every way. I am having lots of fun with it right now.
Anybody have some advice how I can make this even more fun?

Just signed up and it says you're my mentor. I already went through most of the stickies and stuff before even signing up. Now I just need to get a premie or a po box. For my first on though I think I should be okay as I just need him to think I received the check as long as it doesn't get returned.

Not to burst your bubble, Wesley - but chances are the person you're communicating with is a 25 year old dude with a pot belly & receeding hair line & a big 'ol bottle of Viagra who smells of cheap whiskey (scamming's not as lucrative as it used to be) and home-rolled cigars and possibly a dirty cat litter box. He's sitting in his dingy basement corner trying to keep the mouse from sticking to his hand because he has sent out so many pron images today he just couldn't control himself. Oh - yeah - and he has access to some stolen hot babe pix. Shocked

The scripts they copy & paste are marvelously alluring (unless you're actually wanting a mate, then they're creepy at how 'quickly' they move). Use google's reverse image search - pop one of her images in there - if there are any nudes of her on-line, you'll have one without any of the <yawn> of dealing with "her" <cough> e-mails. don't forget that even 'cam' can be faked. happy baiting.

Welcome to eater glad you are both here! One thing worth mentioning to both of you we do not recommend baiting scammers that you were involved with in some way in real life. One they have your real life details and two it's not a good idea to bait a lad when you have an emotional connection.

You can post the scammers details in our surplus forum so they will get the attention they deserve Smile
