Talk about bad timing, If I were him I would have died about 6 months ago.

Now that I know what I know, and I don't know what he knew, I'm not exactly sure where my sensibilities are with Joe.

^Exactly, I would like to think he's a sweet old guy, but there's that looming possibility that he, at best, turned a blind eye to a pedo-farm.

He didn't do the deed. It was ruled that he did what he was required to do per Pennsylvania State law.

I hope people can let him rest in peace. I am certain that the Sanducky problem hastened his demise.

I hope they amend that statute, then. It is not the A.D.'s responsibility to respond to crimes because sh** like the result of Joe-Pa's report happens.

Like I said, my feelings are mixed. He did the minimum of what was required when faced with a scenario that would caused me to skip all the way up the flow chart to vigilante justice. It's a bummer that he went out like this, both career-wise and er... life-wise, but one call to the police could have saved his job/legacy.

The sad part about all of this is that Joe Pa, because he happens to be the face of Penn State, is the one who will take the blame for the inaction taken by not just himself, but many others as well. The mind-boggling thing about it all is how far the inaction reached, and the length of time over which it occurred. And yet many people will pin it all on Joe Pa. It's very unfortunate.

My goodness, I thought I saw a ghost but no, just someone who promised to be a ghost then pissed backward. You know in order to use self restraint, you have to practice at it a bit.

So in the future, if there is a RIP thread of someone you don't like, use self restraint and say nothing.

And yes I can be done. I stayed out of this thread and a few others.

When you disrespect the RIP thread it's like saying only your opinion matters. Not to mention it is incredibly rude to the OP.
