Hmm, he is a man of few words isn't he ? I wonder if he is new to this. He's a bit lazy as well if you ask me, he's not putting much effort into his relationships with you or Benjamin Franklin.

How about something like "I miss you too honey (BLEUGH) and wish you were here with me now - what are your plans for tomorrow ? Is your work busy, what exactly do you do, it must be important, as you never seem to have the time to write me much. I am going sky diving after work, I will think of you when I jump out of the plane "

Jeeze, I am starting to despair of the quailty of scammers on that site, they are all as thick as mince. The one who is currently messaging me was stupid enough to cut and paste his first email to me in answer to some questions I asked him yesterday, and they are all really lazy. I think however this latest one of mine is working with someone else, the first email almost made sense, the rest do not !

His lack of effort and disregarding the things I wrote was getting on my nerves, so I kept slapping him gently to see if he'd finally get his act together. No luck. He was also pushing for me to use Yahoo so we could IM, but I refused. Just an all around lazy and boring lad, unfortunately. Sad

Aww never mind Benjamin. I don't blame you for knocking him on the head, he's so lazy and clueless I don't think there is much chance of him getting anything off anyone. I can't imagine him being bright enough to multi task, he can barely keep up with Anita.

I'm thinking it's time for this years graduates to do internships - apparently under ogas. What I've noticed with the past 2 dozen or so romance scammers I've had is that for 2 weeks, the 'small boy' is doing copy/paste. The only way you get a reaction is if you put half a dozen ?'s after the question - they notice it. If you ask one question, you get one answer. If you ask six questions - you get one answer. Occasionally a compound sentence.

After they ask for the $$ *then* you get passed up the food chain to somebody whose time is slightly more important. I pretty much blew off a bunch of scammers lately 'cause of their unwillingness to play - but I kept one. He was 1 e-mail a day - 6am my time. Until the cash request came in. Today there were 4 e-mails (even late-nite Lagos time). The grammar improved. The verbiage changed. (but the creepy 'honey' or 'baby' ever 4 words is still there) Now, all of a sudden, he's reading what is being written (so i'll just re-use some of the good material I wasted on the small boy earlier in the bait) - <whine> they don't want to play</whine>

What I'm seeing (that I've never seen before) is a more 'production line' process to the scams. If they can hang onto a potential vic for 2 weeks with sheer garbage, then they'll actually invest the time of higher-up member of the cartel into extracting the cash. I haven't had a 'talkative' or 'serious' romance scammer for well over a year.

^If these are Fake book profiles someone might look into them but there's no guarantee on that. Those are a bit more difficult to prove. You could post the profiles in the Main Scambaiting Forum and ask for opinions.

There's an active group on FB "let's stop facebook romance scammers' - they actively search out the fake profiles & try to have 'em shut down. They've been doing a half decent job of it. Unfortunately, they don't do much homework on some of the guys & a couple of ITP's have lost their accounts and/or had their profiles posted on the page wall. Some tend to work on the assumption that if you're on a scammers profile, then you're a scammer too (?).

So if your guy was working on one of them, too - they undoubtedly successfully had him removed. FB has started paying more attention to the problem lately. That particular group, however, dances *real* close to the slander line sometimes.

@ againstscammers - I don't know how you use Wayn. Every time I go there, I get a Conficker attack. :::shrug::: just my luck, lol
