What is happening to our honey bees?

Dear friends, lovers and family members...

The loss of our bees is becoming a big problem and I am very concerned.

Would you all do some research and prove to me that this is all a crock of poop?

btw, Come spring I will be planting the stuff that the honey bee likes and thank ya very much.

Would anyone like some fries?

I've read a bit about bees dying off or seemingly disappearing over the past few years. I don't recall reading about a definite reason behind the lower populations though.

Some of the theories I've seen mentioned: increased wireless transmissions, pollution, genetically modified plants possibly in combination with high tech pesticides (e.g. RoundUp), and a parasitic fly that which preys on various kinds of bees. Search for info on "colony collapse disorder" to get going in the right direction.

On a side note, I hate how they call it a disorder. Let's leave that label to humans since these days every single behavior is some kind of disorder that can be cured with a pill.

I don't know what you're talking about! My pancake-on-head disorder cannot be cured by pill, and I have to see a specialist 10 times a week for it!!!

In all seriousness, I have heard about something happening to our bees, and even seen a documentary on it. The true cause isn't really known that I know of, but several bee farmers are struggling do to it.

The only thing I can think of is a recent decline in agricultural activity, but I can only say that happened in the Tuscarawas county farms in Ohio for sure, when our family farm became trailer park development -_-

I can't say if that had an impact or not, or if it did, if that would be across the entire country. Research is needed when I am not busy with school! To the beemobile!
