Some may have noted the small piece of card board below the crusher. That guides otherwise errant crushed cans into the bin. No, it is not attached to the pristine bin. I'd rather staple it to the wall than my bin.

Here's my fancy 96 gallon toter. complete with a metal bar so the giant hand on the trash truck can just grab it and dump it. The trash person never has to leave the comfort of his smelly cab to handle the trash.

Yes, this actually made from a recycled, wheeled, Recycle Bin, cut open and laid on it's back - note the red part is the original lid.
A second lid was used to make the roof.
It was made for a gravity powered race called Recycle Racer - the smoke was just from dry-ice.

EDIT: I have to admit this was NOT my creation, but was an entry I was competing against in the Recycle Racer race.

BTW, Their team won 1st in the "Creative use of Recycled Materials" portion, and my team won 1st place in the distance event.

I can't do it on my mobile phone as I don't have the capabilities to upload to my own email. And... I can't draw to save my own ass. The picture is, however an exact replica of the one that I have. The one in the pic just looks nicer cuz it hasn't been beat to hell by the trash truck like mine has.

This thread has reminded me today is the day to take our wheelie bins down the driveway to the street. My recycle one has no wheels (dangnabbit) so I have to put him in the wagon and tow him out to the street.
