Somebody told me about an EXe file that you could download, and it could put several sheep on your desktop. It's something from the past (yes, we're that old) and it only works on older versions of windows, up until XP. Here's the result:

And yes, they walk and run over the screen, climb on windows, fall off again, bump in to eachother, eat flowers, and fall asleep. It's fun! |

...I remember that li'l fellow! Had it on my work PC for years. Sadly it doesn't run on 64-bit systems.
You can also double-click it (in connection with a combination of Shift, Control and/or Alt that I don't remember) to open a debug window that lets you select individual actions such as 'yawn' or 'tinkle'. |

i know this sheep 
that was a program in the early 90ties for this ancient version of windows called 3.1
the time, were programs like this were popular. there was another program, where a dog ran around on the screen, digging holes into the screen.
I don't think, that they eat up a lot of ram, as I have seen them running of pcs with win 3.1 with the large amount of 4mb of ram (my firefox eats up 800mb at the moment). |
