problem getting scammers

hi fellow eaters,

I am new at this of fooling around with the scammers but I have a great will to do it, however, I have a problem. I do not how to get scams to start baiting them, I tried guestbooks but it has not work well for me. I already created and new email addres and a whole new identity to start baiting

Please any advise of how to get scammers to contact me or to get their letters to then start sending responses from my email would be very appreciated

If you give us an idea on the type of baits you would like to work with I have a few to spare of different types. You can also look in the Surplus forum for more variety.

I had in mind the charity scams, because I hate the use charity to steal money from people with good intentions

Give it time and your disgust will expand. For now you have a great starting point and I will PM you any of that type if I get them. Look through the posts here http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=18 May be something there that suits you. If you don't find it there try the ScamWarners link at the top of the page. There are plenty that need attention.

When I posted on the 419baiter guestbook a week or so ago, I was getting spam messages within hours. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it happened.

I think God listened to my prays and the first scam I got was one from a"Pastor", how convenient how things work out Smile

"I am Pastor xxIsaac, Andraxxx India, New Bethxxxx full gospel Church. Baptized in the Holy Spirit bla bla bla..."

I will reply tomorrow when I am well rested and my head is clear, thank you guys for your help

FWIW then I wouldn't use my handle as a bating character name (I accept yours is a hard one and not RL!)

plus you should redact email addresses - even if posting in a part of the forum that is at least behind a login - and this one isn't

you'd be surprised how fast Google finds us, a Google of your handle brings up your post as #1

lads are often poor at using Google but the occasional suspicious lad has caused us problems in the past Rolling Eyes

no worries, hopefully with a little help you will make less mistakes than I did!
(some would say still do)

my biggest learning point was to bait slowly, I mean VERY slow

read the strait baiting tutorial and go from there

personally I'd advise focusing on one type of scam at first and learning how that works, I like gold lads - they LOVE filling out forms and making up invoices (with many mistake for you to find, only one at a time of course) - many of my early piggies came from gold lads (6 from the same lad if I recall correctly)
