I have a loverly orange one. Thursday is pickup day and it's by the road packed to the gills. I hope the guy doesn't hurt anything trying to pick it up.

I'm not allowed a wheelie bin.

This is because the pavement is too narrow. Doesn't stop my neighbour from having one though AND she insists on having its widest part pointing out rather than alongside the wall thereby forcing mothers with prams and people in wheechairs into the road. And she leaves it out ALL THE TIME Twisted Evil

Will post up our 2 bins later. They are currently out at the end of the driveway waiting for pickup. Wish the trash men would hurry up too, because I have their Christmas gift cards for them. I cannot wait all day!

Don't worry.
It's just the garage and I only keep my wife in there.
If the worst came to the worst and there was a fire - if she managed to unchain herself, she could probably claw a hole through the roof.

To be perfectly honest, Klaasvaak's wheelie bin is in a far more dangerous place. Any passer-by is bound to have their attention focussed on his snazzy lantern and won't see the bin until it's too late and after they've stumbled into it and fractured their skull. And probably died.

Here's mine

One is strapped shut to keep the racoons out. Evil or Very Mad

The other was left open in a downpour and completely filled with rain water..couldn't move it......had to drill small holes in bottom to drain. Very Happy

I have bin envy. My neighborhood is a gazillion years old and the pavement is about 5 inches wide. Just wide enough to peak your head out the door to make sure you won't get smashed by the next car ignoring the 30km/hr sign.

Does the community bin up the road count? It has wheels. And flies.

OK. The bin doesn't fly. But you knew that, right?

Yeah. It's pretty much a dumpster. And there's two recycling dumpsters along side.
