Working on an album, need help with lyrics

As I can always write rippin' guitar riffs, but am horrible at lyrics, I figured I would turn to a worthy cause for my next album. I figured I'd do a short album, 5 tracks or so, dedicated to scambaiting/eater/etc.

I already have most of the music written, and am going to record some of it very soon, but if anyone can think of some verses or lines to put into song, it'd be much appreciated. I've already tried my real life friends...er.. friend.... But they have no interest in my music at all. (Not to mention, their lyrics are always similar to the "Team America" theme)

Nothing too serious, just trying to get some new work out before I have to go back to college. Any used suggestions will definitely get credit for their contribution. And it's 100% risky free.

I do all genres. Love metal though. But the music I'm writing so far is more 90's/grunge/bluesy/classic rock like.

Metal just didn't seem to fit the scambaiting stuff. But hey, I'm always up for some METAL!!!!

If you have skype we can talk and I can play you some example stuffs.

crotcheecher, I'm a writer (short stories, screenplays, poetry and the like) and a huge music lover. I'll be thinking of some lyrics for you. I'm thinking a kind of cross between Rush and Iron Maiden, but that could always change.

Let me get this straight. So the band is probably called EATER and it's got crotcheecher on guitar and from what I can gather next victim, bookreader, myself and one of bobdemol's lads on lyrics / vocals and we sound kind of rap, grunge, metal, nigerian world musicy.

I got a buddy that's not part of eater doing vocals and some lyrics. He's a big Rage Against the Machine fan. So rap/rock with a touch of Pixies.

Yes. We are about to venture forth into the most dysfunctional band ever known to man. Except for that one video of a bunch of scammers covering the Village People...

Edit: Forgot to mention @BookReader: Iron maiden-esque? I guess I could gallop some triads for that. I really need someone to cover bass and drums as well. Extra points if you get a lad to do the drum tracks Very Happy

Hmm, perhaps something more Pink Floyd would be appropriate? (I'm not really a metal fan.) Dark Side of the Lad maybe? I don't play any instruments, but could probably play drums.

A buddy of mine that will most likely be recording the vocals for this stuff is working on some lyrics from the eyes of a lovelad. So naturally the song is full of lies Very Happy

And no, I have no intention of glorifying lads, or even "Well let's look at it from their point of view." The album, when it is released on Jamendo, will hopefully raise awareness of scammers of all kinds, and of the joys of scambaiting. The lyrics will reveal the dark intentions of the scammer, not just "hey, I'm Mr Charming, send me money plox"

I've always heard lyrics first...music second. Am I mis-informed??

I wrote a song (Several actually but they mostly sucked)(Probably this one too) I even racked out music in my head for it but never knew anyone who could or wanted to give it a try. I'll send you the lyrics I have if you want to see them. Maybe the tune you come up with will be better than what I had in my mind.

Be aware...I'm a long time Country fan...converted from a rock/popper fan. (I ain't gonna admit I liked D**CO back in the day)

Send away, I'll give it a shot. I miss the days that I actually meant something musically. Country is my blood as well. I'm not great at playing it, but I can Very Happy

I used to have a fiddle that was played on stage with on of the Cash family. Not sure which one. unfortunately, It broke during a move. Oh well.

Anywho, Send me the lyrics and I'll see if I can write out a tune for it.

Royalties? Uhm.. absolutely! Just print out these forms, fill them in with a ballpoint pen, scan them and mail them back.
