Have been had...good and proper. The signs were there! The alarm bells went off!! and yet the nice genuine sounding upper class lady on the phone was just so plausible!
My husband has been trying out the non-intimate escort business as a way to help us out of our financial black hole...HA! What a pair of sitting ducks we were. Back, and a Mod will be around soon to explain why this should probably be posted on our sister site as well. I'm afraid there will be no flags this time around, so everybody stand down. Yeah, I know. 
@Licky, I am so sorry you and your family were scammed. Can you gather any of the emails, with headers, you received from the site? The best plan will be to PM them to a Mod and have them looked at so they can be shared on our sister site for others to google if they have doubts. That is the best way to share info.
As for sitekilling, we deal with AFF (advanced fee fraud) and fake banks. If they got a fee from you and disappeared with it, well then. I'll wait for a Mod to tell me that it's time to unleash the hounds.  |
