I only have "Paint" on my computer and I need to edit some of the photos I took of my granddaughter's Christmas Play. Some of them are a little too dark and I would like to make them lighter and maybe sharper. Most of the pics came out OK there about 8 I would like to "fix".
How do I go about it in Paint (if possible) or what editing program (free is good) that might work. |

Half way in-between GIMP/Photoshop and basic Windows paint is Paint.net. I assume you are using Windows.

I recommend Gimp. I haven't used it for adjusting the light level, but I do "fake used by scammer" overlays with it. Look at my baits on the second page. |

I very much appreciate all the suggestions. I will look into them all.
Of course I have been hinting around that maybe I need a new camera, but I don't think Santa is listening very well.
These pictures were taken inside a church that is associated with the school my granddaughter attends. Everyone says they always have a few problems taking pictures inside that church even with a flash. Most of the folks have the Kodak Easy Share cameras as do I................so I am thinking maybe a better camera would be nice for those in-the-church shots. |
