Hi all!

My first post here, and also my first really successful bait. Nothing special, but I did manage to convert a couple of lads to paganism, and I got some pretty funny pictures.

The part of your dream about the spiders spinning a web and the wind blowing your mails into it was very nice. Quite poetic and funny.
The lad playing the banker was surprisingly patient and commited, usually you get a slightly more polite version of "Shut up with your stupid question and pay, you moron" after the third email.

Thanks,

I'm about to close this now. Unfortunately, Mr Bergman won't have much time left to live. He did go to the WU office and sent the money, but on his way back he will check his reindeer herd and it looks like he will accidently start a stampede and get trampled to death. Enter the lawyer, who will inform the poor lads of his departure and the surprising addition to Mr Bergman's last will and testamente... Wink

Not sure it will work, but I'll try to link directly to the altar pic:

What we see is Mr Thompson Koulibally, Bank Chief at Bank Of Africa (yeah, right...), praying at the shrine of Odin during a sacrifice of various fruits and vegetables.

Looks like the lads twigged. They didn't buy the news that Mr Bergman was killed in a reindeer stampede. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I'll update the site later today with the last emails.

What is he doing with his hands?
Trying to fly? Posing as reindeer?

Funny story - do you think it will go on?

Well, the bait is completed and the site is updated with the last emails. They didn't buy the news of Ingmar's death and I already got the pics, so there was no point in going on.

We'll have to see what the future has in store for Mr Ingmar Bergman.

SolitaryMan you are too modest. In your opening post you said that your bait was 'nothing special'.
It's brilliant and you should feel proud of it.
Very well done.

I loved this one. Laughing
I forwarded it to a colleague, and now the whole company is reading about the poor mister Bergmann, who was attacked by scambaiters, and the newly religious mister Coolball. Funny enough my norvegian colleagues deny, the regime is so brutal as Ingmar describes
