Yes, GMail is great, it hides your IP so scammers can't know your (mostly approximate) location, since GMail sometimes have stigma that only jokers (that's us  sometimes they call us gmail jokers) use gmail, you can use hushmail.com and fastmail.fm - these hide your IP as well. 
For name you can either make something up, or if you find that hard to do you can use www.fakenamegenerator.com that gives you fake address as well!

Welcome Hazza eYa, I think you will be an excellent baiter. Most people don't ask how to bait safely and we have to tell them to bait safely.
I do think there should be a poll regarding your baiting name and you get to use that name.

Gmail is great. Fastmail is bad. 
Common names are always a good choice as nowadays many lads Google your character's name. Ivan Ivanov, Valentina Smirnova, Mary Jones, Hasan Yousef, Fatima Khan, Wang Liu, Juan Perez, Mathias Nielsen, Karl Schmidt...

Honestly it can be pretty much anything you want it to be. If your having trouble thinking of one, you can always just go with a character from a TV Show or Movie or something, or just something that's amusing to see your lad continually call you. |
