Anita is very confused. Mr. Ruth (???) keeps telling her to "Get to the WU and send it to Mr. David so-and-so at blah-blah-blah address." So Anita went to her friendly local gas station counter and got a Western Union MONEY ORDER and MAILED IT to the recipient. Mr. Ruth David is a little upset. I have no idea why. Did Anita do something wrong? Apparently this isn't what he wanted. Laughing

Have a chat to that silly woman, Anita. Tell her the stupid thing she did.
Everyone knows that you scan the WU order and send it email.
It gets there much quicker. No wonder Mr Ruth is upset. Now he has to wait
for a week or more for it to get there.

Also I bet this stupid Anita failed to put sufficient postage stamps on the envelope. Overses mail costs more than local. Gee did it get returned?

Surely you mean Mrs Ruth David? After all, Ruth is a woman's name. Perhaps Anita should take to calling her by her proper title until she does the same?

You could say you took the precaution of insuring the letter, but lied about the value and stand to make a tidy profit when you claim.

I did the very same thing with my character some time ago. The saddest thing was the amount of mail exchange for the lad to realize what had happened. After 5 or so e-mails of "please scan the receipt" they finally asked name of the place, so I told him it's the normal post office (and gave the name of the character's native post office). The lad then started calling me a liar, because no such money transfer company exists.

Even when I told him step by step how I withdrew the cash from a bank, stuffed it an envelope, put a stamp on it and put it in the postbox I still get "BUT WHERE'S THE SLIP WITH THE MTCN".

Some men you just can't reach...
