The weekend is coming up and the lads really, really want you to pay up before the Westy closes on a Friday afternoon.

One of my lads, after a couple of weeks of me pestering him for an invoice comes up with the Hall of Same candidate goods and not two, three but four "hurry up and pay" emails in the space of a few minutes...

Ah, setting up weekend pain.
I like to start on the Thursday, setting up a scenario for bitter disappointment around 6ish on the Friday afternoon.
Still, it's all good.
The important part is the pain.
And knocking back a Zubrowka after hitting the 'send' button.

Seems like only yesterday (actually 2002) I was sat in a Vodka Bar in Kazimierz Dolny, drinking Zubrowka straight from the freezer, in chilled glasses, getting drunk from the legs up.

If I delay payment on Fridays I always like to start my lad's week on a happy note. Usually the note goes "Hello lad, I have just made the payment to your assistant Mr Gomer as you requested"

Monday is perfect to introduce the next level of lad pain.
They've had the weekend to bite their nails and endure the gibes of their mates and family about the delayed payment and hopefully cancelled partying whilst waiting for their local Westie to open on the Monday.
That perky little message that arrives (noonish?) not only rounds off the preceding level of lad pain nicely but segues gently into the week's ah activity.

@Monsignor- You never really forget sessions like that!
