The genie misinterpreted your wish as "weak" and thus you are now physically weaker and are a easy target when it comes to being attacked, hit by a vehicle, or bitten by an animal. You also tend to faint if you walk more than a 20 steps and dehydrate extremely easy. Viel Glück!

I wish I knew how to get where I wanted for very cheap and still be luxurious (legitimately, and without bad karma).

Genie is getting tired of all the snow wishes, so he decides to send a heat wave to your place that lasts for a whole year. No snow and no rain either, but you get a pile of Justin Beiber CDs for each citizen, so you have some nice destraction from all the heat. Oh yes, before the heat wave starts, your place gets buried in snow for one day. So: GRANTED.

I wish the outback of Australia would drop in temperature and be buried in 15 feet (about 5 meters) of snow, for a Loooooong time.

Denied, they do, and actually 24 of them are coming at you. Enjoy fighting them. As a side note genie grants your completely unrelated wish to have 2 kilotons of snow salt near your house, just in case. Well, actually your house is buried in snow salt now, so you're quite ready for all the snow to fall, once you're done with the zombies, that is.
