He seems to have missed the bit where you specifically address this thread to people who are already Premium Members.

If you want to go on your own, you can get a Free SIP account from several providers. Then get a free DID number to be the number in your room at your hotel. Search this page for where to get a Nigeria DID number to forward to your SIP account.
A free SIP account is a great base that can accept calls from several VOIP providers.

There may be cheaper alternatives to the one I just searched for. It's about $25 us/month. It can take text as well as calls so it can be a fake cell phone.

Thank you for the information. This seems like a great idea, and I am pretty serious about getting set up with a VoIP service. 25 dollars a month seems almost too good to be true, as I have been shopping around for a little while, and have not found any deals even close to that cheap. Does this package you speak of get good service, and does it support all models of internet phone, or will I need to purchase a special phone to go along with it? Thank you in advance for your help

I have not spent the money for the service yet. It sounds like a better deal may be in the works.
SIP can include SMS and video chat depending on provider. I have a free SIP account in the US and one in France. |
