Just to let you know... The baiter always controls the bait but there are certain words that are inflammatory and insensitive to members of this forum. I realize you are trying to get a rise out of your lad but I found out in my baiting that there are better ways to cause him pain. Instead of trading insults, threats or invectives I found that playing the perfect victim hurts the lad much more.

Being gay myself i personally don't get offended by the faggot stuff in baits because i know it's not for real, if it were actually being directed at someone you knew to be gay then it would be another story.

In fact i actually find it quite funny to question the sexuality of lads (and i do it often myself) because i know how mortified they are at the mere thought of a bit of bumfun. lol Shocked

I know we use our characters to say things that we as people would (hopefully) never say in real life. Our characters might be homophobic, racist, anti-muslim, xenophobic, and with the right lad and the right bait, this can be a good way to establish control over the interaction. But maybe, when posting here, you could snip some of the more offensive slurs. There are thousands of people on this site and some are more sensitive than others. We want to offend our lads, not our fellow baiters.

Just my two cents. Obviously, mileage varies here.

Fridge - I am guilty too of using the term at my lads. Of course, it is only my character. I would never in a million years say it to offend someone who is gay. If I post a bait script with my character using the word, I try to throw out a disclaimer ahead of time letting people know that it is my character's words and not my personal feelings.
