But these emails never seem to come my way, i get spared for some reason.

Any good known guestbooks to sign or free dating sites scammers are known to use?

Have you tried 4ppl.com? I get there lot´s of spammers who want to be my husband and live with me...and already love me.

I got a lot of my scammers from 4ppl.com. It's been overrun with them (though that said there ARE a few real people hiding in there). I've had suggestions that mybeloved.net is good for Vlads, though I haven't used my account and think it'd be no longer active.

But the lads are SO lazy in 4ppl, they send you their bog standard scripts as a romance introduction!

I can also PM you some, and I'm sure you'll find them in surplus too. I have never done a romance bait (yet), but I get these emails by the bucketfull. Not sure why.

If you aren't on a dating site or social networking site, you are unlikely to get many true romance scammers. The ones who send random emails usually turn rapidly into refugee scams or "help me get/move my millions" scams.

4ppl is a great place to pick up scammers for practice, especially since they are usually less experienced or capable scammers, and easier to pick up or manipulate.

But, if your goal is to prevent real victims from being scammed, then in the long run you want to target "better" scammers. For that, you are better off picking up scammers who are active on sites like match or even facebook. You can create some fake profiles that fit the preferred victim profile, or you can go over to the romance scammer section at scamwarners, and find some successful scammers that you can ASEM.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, all of the romance scam letters I get are the, "I found your contact on line, age or color does not matter," type emails. Some mention a refugee situation--some include a couple of photos of very attractive women, no doubt scavanged from the internet. It's hard for me to imagine so many healthy, attractive and well dressed women in a refugee camp. Very Happy

If I ever decide to do a romance bait, I'll go for a higher quality lad as you suggest. But, to be honest, the thought of writing sweet nothings to a lad is kind of icky to me (even if he's pretending to be a woman.) Very Happy
