Sorry, but I did not receive your emails nor the picture. Did you submit them through this site. Like I said it does sound like the same guy. But I was fortunate and smart enough not to be taken in my him. And I do not know where you got the idea that I think he is in love with me. Christa, my friend. Thank you for your help but I have put enough energy into this havent you. Let it go. It would be healtheir for everyone. Again. Take Care |

This scammer does not like or love anything but money. He is incapable of feelings toward anyone. Words are cheap but very costly in some cases. |
Hi Guys: Tristan Freeman has not asked for money yet, which amazes me, but I have done research on scammers and have stopped all contact with him. Apparently anyone with a 44, 770 phone number (guess what) be careful. I hope this forum helps alot more women and hopefully they will not fall for his deceit. I thank God for allowing me not to fall for this creep. It is hard to believe that these kind of people exist. Everything you guys say is correct. I was just lucky, I did not fall victim. Thanks Again and Take Care. |

Be on your guard.
The fact that you've stopped corresponding with a scammer doesn't necessarily mean that they will give up.
Now he has your email address and knows that you will respond, there's a very good chance that he will approach you using a different character with a different email address and trying a different method of scamming.
Treat any correspondence coming from someone whom you don't personally know with the utmost caution.
BTW. The fact that the scammer "Tristan" hasn't asked for money yet means absolutely and utterly nothing.
They can take months and even years, grooming their victims before going for the cash. The idea is, the longer he takes in the scam, the more you become hooked, the more you will be prepared to pay him when he asks. |

Great summary and this is my final correspondance regarding this evil character. I always try and look for the positive in any type of negative incident. I know that you couldn't love anyone through words and realized how cheap words really are. I made statements I didn't mean due to pressure from the prediator. I didn't want to hurt it's feelings and just went with the momentum of the chat. It was exciting and has benefited me in some ways. He did not get the $15,000 he requested from me and never would have. They may have money but this must be exhausting wearing this many hats, staying up all hours of the night, etc. I have finialized this chapter in my life and pray that women and men use your site to protect thier assets and money that they actually work for. Thank you and God Bless you all. |

Hi Debxen and welcome to Eater! If you haven't already (you mention a couple of sites that you have submitted the details to already) it would be great if you could post this scammers info over at www.scamwarners.com the sister site to this one.
A little bit of knowledge can go a long way. Feel free to put his details in the Surplus mails forum on this site too. I'm sure someone will pick him up there if not here. |
Well, Ladies you guys were 100% correct. I feel blessed that I had visited this site before I fell for this Lunatic. Anyway, I played his game and then Day 45 came, he called and said that he had an accident. The same Crane Accident, actually I found it amusing because of the fact that I had not become one of his victims. I must say though, very clever. He called and told me the same story about no insurance. He needed 25,000 for insurance. I said to myself omg. Fantel was up all night crying. We chatted and I allowed him to believe that I had sympathy for him. He still did not ask me for money. So I continued to ask him if he believed in God. He asked me why. I asked him if he wanted me to borrow 25,000 from my rich friend and guess what he said. Would you do that? BINGO. I asked him again. Do you believe in God and he said yes. I told him he was a liar. He denied everything. He even told me he would send me pictures of his bruises and let me talk to FAntel. I told him to get lost. I also told him that if he believed in God that he would have to answer to him. He did not know what to say. I have blocked him from my email and had to change my phone number. Again, I am so thankful I did not become a victim. I did report him to Match.com. They are investigating. I still cannot believe there are people n the world like this. I take this as a learning experience. Again take care and stay blessed |

I was notified about about your post and he is on schedule. I can hear the words and see the texts. You were lucky and did not have to hear about his workers in the hospital and the threatening phone calls being made to him from the family members. I guess no paycheck for him this week. Tee hee |

Oh my God, this lunatic tried to contact my friend under a different name. UpdateMe 971, Just to get the word out there. He sent her the same picture he sent me. When we went to look at his profile. He erased it of Match.com. OMG. How are they going to catch this lunatic!!!! |

He also tried this with me...said he was stuck in South Afrika, wanted a phone for his daughter Fantel, said he had crane accident, injured several people, bank account frozen in the UK, lived in the guest house, didn't have any food, or any way to get back to the UK, was going to visit the US this month, and buy a $300K house for us, said he loved me, said he kissed my picture everyday, I was the love of his life, even called my daughter in Oklahoma, also had Fantel call my daughter... if it was indeed his daughter Fantel, my daughter said that the voice on the phone sounded funny, like a munchkin, wanted me to borrow money from friends, family members, wanted me to go into my 401k, sell stocks, go to payday loans, etc etc. It was awful. Sent several pictures to me of him and his daughter, also exposed himself and sent picture, I still have them if anyone wants to see them... I'm so glad that I didn't send him any money... it was horrible, then also started argueing with me on the phone cause I didn't send him money. I am so glad that I've stopped communicating with him, have found someone else.. close to home who I know has a job and isn't a scammer. Hopefully who ever reads this.. will run for their life... cause he is "NO GOOD" and 100% a scammer. |

Martina,
You think that he would move on with a different scam but this seems to be working for him. I would love to swap pictures and I feel sorry for the gentleman and his daughter whose pictures this low life has stolen. I can't imagine what this thing looks like. Remember we still have our money and he still is hustling. He is following his routine with the anger after your reluctance to send money, I found quite amusing to listen to his pleas. He is also controlling and it's exhausting having to communicate with him. I just found myself cutting and pasting without having any feelings. He is a very smooth operator and his words are powerful but that all he has going for him. Best of luck in your relationship. |

Your email didn't come across; for safety reasons I think it was erased. If you want to send it to me again, my email is and I will be more than happy to send you his pictures. One is of himself and daughter, the other one is at the beach with him on a horse, then another one with him and his daughter by the pool - they have wet hair, then another picture of just Tristan in a leather jacket. Now according to the emails that I had received in the past from him... the crane accident happened in July and not recently. Plus at the time same time he wanted me to get a Nokia E7 (unlocked) from Amazon.com; which was over $ 700. My iphone that I and my daughter have doesn't even cost this much, so why does a 13 yr old girl (Fantel) need such an expensive phone. Doesn't make sense. Plus shouldn't she be in school by now... ??? Anyway, please be careful.. oh yes and he uses the word Princess, and your Prince Tristan a lot.
Email address removed. Use the PM system. - Slightlyoutofit |

Martina, for your own safety, please use the "pm" button to exchange email addresses. Spammers and scammers can view this section of our forum, and you don't want them to find your information.
I'm sorry I can't discuss the matter with you, I'd love to but currently I'm travelling and checking in only occasionally. |
