This was supposed to be another round of gold lads. However, lack of phone calls, mixed up baits and lazy baiters have made it impossible to continue. A baiter replied to a few lads after two weeks of their emails asking to be baited Mr. Green

Throughout this mess, Dr Mike brilliantly grabbed a Ghanaian lad, dragged him from his comfy chair in the internet café, and threw him in Douala to be exposed to DW charms!

Mike told them that he will pay zillion dollars if DW can test a sample and insure its quality.
We have a Cameroonian number, so Devil Woman spoke with the oga informing him that she arrived safely to Douala.

The smell of lots of $$$$ trigged the oga to send one of his guymen. The poor soul crossed four borders in the hunt of dollars +sex!

He arrived to Douala and lodged into a hotel yesterday.

I found that the OGA had a weakness and used this to encourage him to sacrifice one of his lads to the evil designs in the mind of our own Mike!

Nice title for the thread. As i have one of the leading roles in this safari i thought i have to make a appearance.
Mr Kofi was one of my gold lads and he likes to call. And so do i so we got along famously. He wanted to rip me of and i wanted him to safari. Perfect match.
I promised him to pay for 50% of some 4 kilos of gold in advance. A total of $61,500, so understandable he was eager to send his guyman Victor. He send his tickets and they are real, and expensive. He paid £500 for them, and as Nailgunner pointed out to me, that kind of money would take him over the Atlantic to America.

As you have heard things aren't going as planned for our lad. He was convinced to leave Douala by Sub and DW and went north toward Mundemba near Korup park and the Simba that is located there. However the bad roads as Slappy showed made it impossible to travel any further. So he had to get another car. And he is currently stuck in Kumba halfway between Douala and Korup. He is now sleeping with his driver there and he should continue to Mundemba tomorrow. I made a call to the oga and i explained that i cannot have anymore of this debacle anymore. I'm coming to Cameroon tomorrow.
The oga is still a believer in me and he is convinced of success tomorrow. A lad well hooked it in other words.

Small boi was stuck last night in Kumba. I think he slept in the taxi. This SMS was sent :

Ok summary. Lad is at the Korup entrance wherever that is, but according to Slappy it is somewhere between here and hell.
As you have noticed this bait is done mostly by phone. And here are some calls made while I was at work today, and that my fellow baiters left me with. Some of them are nothing special but there are a few highlights.

Next one is some light lad suffering and he tells Samantha about the sacrifice he had to do for the sake of ripping us off.

Now when i came home from work I got a call from Kofi but this was an in call to my mobile so there is no recording. In the meanwhile in a different part of Cameroon.

Bob just arrived to Yaounde and plans to leave tomorrow. Kofi (the oga) starts to rave about my cost to travel north, i have no idea what he wanted to say with that. I told him i'll rent a car and that money is not an option for me. I'm thinking a nice little Prius, good for the environment and all. That should go along well with he Cameroonian infrastructure i think, at least Bob see no problem. Yaounde - Mundemba, that shouldn't take so long, should it?

Mike and Subway dragged me into this safari as 'light entertainement' to soften up the OGA and his lad.

Nobody would believe that a missionary lady could be a 'joker' so I flirted a bit with OGA and convinced him I was just a simple missionary, which was useful when I found myself totally out of my depth. Very Happy

Funny how men want to protect helpless females. Laughing

After the disasterous Sunday when chaos reigned our OGA now sounds relaxed and confident because the boss has taken over. He thinks all will go well now.

After i came home from work i had 19 missed calls from our boyz. So i felt that i had to make a call to them. I was supposed to leave Yaounde this morning and travel to the SSC. And i did leave and got so far as to Kumba halfway between the SSC and Douala. And as it turns out the place where Victor currently reside. After that things started to go wrong.

I spent a horrible night in my car on a muddy road in the jungle, it is not just Victor that have had a terrible time here.. When morning came i was rescued by a nice man that happened to go to the SSC, so naturally i tagged along.
I called Kofi and told him about the situation and about the plans, later when Victor called i told him the same.
And listening to the call i can see that it is not Victor that keeps on moving, it is Kofi back in Ghana that pulls all the strings. And he is a total sucker for my sweet voice.

No to get to the lad in Kumba i had to travel the bad roads in Cameroon from the SSC. But as Mr Rasmus (the one that saved me from the muddy road and drove me to the SSC) is a big business man he could give me a ride to Douala with a helicopter. In the call below all details is explained to the lad and Rasmus is also introducet into the bait. By going to Kumba from Douala i still have the same distance to drive but on better roads. Good idea right, what could go wrong...

...quite a lot it appears. Rasmus got a call in midair and had to reroute the helicopter to Congo, and he didn't even have the decency to drop his passenger of at Douala.
Call below is to the oga Mr Kofi and he is not pleased, but he is however 100% convinced that i am in Congo. He called many times this morning and he is afraid that someone will take the $123,000 i have on my person. For safety reasons he wanted me to transfer the money to him so that no one would steal it. Hmm not likely I'd do that. And besides, wiring the money to him so that nobody would steal it would be somewhat contra productive.

Lad called like crazy yesterday. He really wants his money. But as i wanted the Dane in on the call as well i had to wait for him to show up. And he was out eating schnitzel all night long so i had to wait for quite a while. But that didn't bother me that much though, but it did bother the lad.
We called and Dane said that I'd have to pay for the fuel to Douala, and at the meanwhile i had no passport with me. So the embassy said that i may have to wait for over a week in Congo. And the lad blankly refused to go to Congo.
Below is our call to the lad and it was quite fun, especially when the lad cut his losses and said that it was ok if i paid Mr Rasmus the $90.000 for the fuel. He would see to it that i got 2 extra kilos of gold free of charge so that i's still got my kilos even though i had to pay loads of cash to Rasmus.

Poor Kofi thought all would be well once the boss took over, but we knew things were going to get a lot worse for Victor and his OGA.

After a day of RL business i came hom, to 68 missed calls. a new personal record, and id does prove that safari lads crave attention. Something that can be quite annoying after some time.
The Dane called Kofi and gave him a proposition, one that the lad didn't like one bit as he said he'd curse his family a generation. Very Happy

As the oga didn't wanna share his money Rasmus told Bob about this being a scam, something that prompted Bob to call, also Rasmus landed the helicopter in the middle of the jungle and throw Bob off.

Next is a series of calls to the oga and these are the last ones made to him. He have had enough of setbacks and i think the last calls from the jungle made him loose a faith in me. Well shit happens and it has been a long ride. Lad landed in Douala the 24th and he have been around and up for over a week. So i'd say this is a job well done.

Those last calls we made to Kofi had me in stitches last night. Laughing

Dr Mike was masterful the way he sounded so innocent. The "ssss-ssss-ssss-ssss" noises you heard was TheDane, trying unsuccessful to stifle his laughter. He had to keep his mic open in order to play the jungle noise sound effects. This was about the best 4 bucks I have paid to hear a lad's pain, and bust his balls. Laughing

We attempted to call Victor, too, but we failed to contact him. Dr Mike was going to ask Victor if he knew how to start a fire in the jungle with wet sticks, and no matches or a lighter. It was very cold and dark by that small stream, and the animals were coming to get him. We should definitely try to call Victor again, and see if he is in the mood to help. Laughing
