I'm putting on a front for the Nigerians, i am pretending to be a big time businessman and ceo of a company in California who is always looking for investment opportunitiesnd, especially overseas. and I have a lot of money.
I even have a website for my company.
I just don't know if they are really that stupid to by into it, especially with a co.cc domain. but the idea, if done right, it to make them think that I'm super serious and totally legit and that way they will invest loads of time and resources into me.
bottom line, are they really that stupid? |

Short answer to your question: Yes.
I have, myself, baited as a corpse for quite some time. The mugu only twigged after the promised attack by demons failed to materialize.
Others have baited as talking penguins, talking cats, talking horses etc.
So, yes, they can be quite stupid.

shit it already comes up on google search, oh well im not to concerned, if I send the email to them it'll be a direct link and they shouldnt have to use google, and if they try to search for the company they'll find over 1000 with the same name. |

Yeah they will “buy it”, they will buy anything for a time.
The greatest thing is when you have the same mugu on your third or more bait. Well enough into the bait, they started getting the idea that something isn’t right.
They still continue the game, after awhile their communications ended up being a mixture of English, Pidgin, and some sort of African dialect. They seemed to want money, maybe not, who knows.
Speaking from experience a well hooked mugu is an amazing site.
Finally it’s really not stupidity as much as greed, and ego. |

Apologies for being a spelling nitpicker but I think the work "corperate" in the "I Would Like to Contact You with A Business Proposition. Can I?" section should be "corporate".
But then we Australians always do spell things differently. Must be because we live upside down to most other parts of the world . |
