Here is your passport information. <passport.jpg> He/she can't read it? Must be a computer problem on their end. It works fine for you.

Here's a couple of passport ideas:

(a) It is attached (attach nothing).

(b) It is encrypted. (send a garbage file containing several megabytes - if you need help creating a garbage file - ask and people will explain). provide detailed instructions how to decrypt it.

(c) I don't have a scanner. (offer to buy one if necessary. ask what brand to buy, how to hook it up, etc.)

(d) I don't have a passport (offer to get one. Ask "how do I get a passport?")

(e) I loaned my passport to my identical twin who is now touring in Nepal. (this allows you to get a new character, the twin, involved - - he/she is in Nepal, does not have access to a scanner, but wants to 'take over' the transaction can cut out original victim.)

Welcome Ghosted. When I saw you initial post I thought, "Oh not, another long thread trying to get a new member to understand why we don't send IDs."

Thankfully, you are not a new member who needs multiple explanations (though we will give them). Don't be afraid to ask questions and do read the stickys and apply for a Mentor.

Yeah, never a good idea to send a passport to a lad. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm growing rather fond of sending my lad a link for a 200mb-500mb "HD Version" of my "passport". Of course it's encrypted, which accounts for the large file size and his need to download more large files of mine to decrypt it. Twisted Evil

(this may be a better thing to do for when he asks for your payment slip)
