Thanks a lot Fartina o´douriss! I have signed up and been assigned a mentor immediately. Things move quickly around here. By the way, does anyone know who the first baiter was? Is there any history around scambaiting? When did it all start? Having read the letters on Eater I can think of a few legendary baiters but were these guys the first?

Hi Everybody.
I really love this site, it's the funniest thing i ever saw, i bow down to the sheer genius of all the baiters on here. Unbelievable stuff guys. Plus i have a hatred for scammers, it hurts me to read of the victims and no i don't think victims are stupid, just not as savvy as they should be, and too trusting.
It's great work that goes on here and should be government funded, hell your better at it than any CID or FBI officers. I don't know how much time i'll have to actually do any baiting as i have six children and run my own business, however i'll DONATE TO THE SITE!!! i'm bolding that bit because i think every new guy should, its only about £30+.........

I'd recommend you to sign-up to get mentoring (use the Cherry Mentoring Program to sign-up). I'm also new to scambaiting and it's been invaluable! I'm constantly annoying my mentor with questions and I get a lot of help.

Hey everyone,
I've been scam baiting for many years without realising there is a whole community that does the very same thing.
Even though I've never achieved the greatness that this site can show in the Letter archive I've still had interesting experiences.
The reason why my interest for this arose was because I recently received a 419 letter to my work e-mail. An address I have never used for anything outside my job. It was also addressed to my surname which I found to be an interesting twist, has anyone else had that before?
