419Eater.com has launched a new service for mobile phone users. We now offer a mobile "lite" version of 419Eater.com, specifically designed for iPhone and Android users.
m.419eater.com allows members to visit our forums and view the trophy room, hall of shame and scam tracker all via an easy to use mobile web front-end.
As we have not wrapped this into an iPhone app iPhone users should follow these instructions in order to get the m.419Eater icon on their home screen.
Instructions to be done from your iPhone
1: Open up safari web browser
2: go to http://m.419eater.com
3: Click on the + at the bottom of the screen
4: Click on "Add to Home Screen"
5: Click on Add
m.419Eater.com will automatically download the mobile icon onto your iPhone's main screen. Next time you want to check in simply click on the m.419Eater.com icon, which looks like this: 
Instructions to be done from your HTC phone
- Add http://m.419eater.com/ to bookmarks in browser
- Press & hold finger on an empty spot in the home screen until the "Add to home screen" dialog pops up (or press the Menu key and choose the appropriate option)
- Choose Shortcut, then Bookmarks. Your browser bookmarks will appear.

- Add http://m.419eater.com/ to bookmarks in browser
- Press & hold finger on an empty spot in the home screen until the "Add to home screen" dialog pops up (or press the Menu key and choose the appropriate option)
- Choose Shortcut, then Bookmarks. Your browser bookmarks will appear.
- Tap on the Eater bookmark.
- That's it!

Just tested it with my HTC Touch Diamond2 using Win Mobile 6.5.... and the site itself worked fine.
The icon thingy didn't work but it's still simple enough to just bookmark the site like normal.

Sorry about the necro but wanted to ask, should I be worried that the icon on my smartphone doesn't look like the picture? Mine is more of a sideways red flag/pennant with a white star in the middle. |
