Well a man by the name of Agent Morris, working as a FedEx Courier Diplomatic Agent has acquired my lost package and needs a fee for me to claim it.

I have been generally screwing with him for weeks, he works out of the library (Fedex doesn't take care of there own) and i have been sending him back and forth from his house to the library several times a day for nothing.
He is getting MAD.

He claims i have to pay a man in West Africa so i can secure my package.

The thing is i have been calling him at 919-655-4511 (if you want to get your package back to) From what i can tell, that is a North Carolina area code.

Which bring me to my question, is he the man in West Africa, but he is in the States for now while he scams? He wants me to send money to a West African address and i wasn't sure what his Deal was. I want to keep messing with him, but i wasn't sure if i was just being annoying to him or SERIOUSLY screwing up his scam.

1. There could be a scammer accomplice in NC. It wouldn't be unheard of. Many times with the diplomat scams, they do have an accomplice here in the US to make a meeting and or get funds.

There are threads here on Eater where baiters did arrange meetings for scammers/accomplices here in the US. I remember Bluth tried to get one on webcam in TX and I know there was one in Atlanta a while back. (Those are just the ones I remember of the top of my head.)

Sometimes these accomplices/scammers in the US are family members that live here/are going to school here and 'help' the family back home. Or there are some scammer gangs that are big enough and they travel back and forth between West Africa and US/UK.

2. It could be a VOIP phone number, but I can't find reference to that. I know it was a Deltacom, Inc number that is now with EarthLink Business, but more than that, I don't know.

So this is a good reminder of why we do stress safe baiting. Not all lads are far away in Nigeria. They are everywhere. Very Happy
