I am concerned that you chose to use an Italian Bank, they can be so nosey when large sums are concerned. Why not use Barclays they understand dicretion so much better.

Now walk down to any bank close to you. When you get to the western union department or you go to any western union agent location, take the Send Money form, you only need the person's full name (as it appears on an ID which is Stanley Omoregbe), phone number( optional), city( Benin City) and state( Edo State). If you are sending to a country other than the one you are living in, you will need the country's name ( Nigeria).

You put the amount of money you want to send (500GPB) and give it to the cashier or whoever is around. They will tell you how much is due in total. All of this is when you send in person. After that you are given a number (MTCN) which you give to the recipient and they can go and pick it up.
