As we've now got a bona fide, honest to goodness doctor as a member, I thought it might not be a bad idea to get some free medical advice whilst he's here. For you Yanks without medicare insurance, this is a free Eater service so you may as well reap the benefits whilst you can (you can thank us later).

My name really is Tim, and I really am a doctor.
I'm also very scared of you all, and your esteemed experience in doing this.

I joined because I happen to have done two of these before, thinking myself oh so clever, and being completely oblivious to the fact I'm not the only person in the whole world to ever do this. Then I found this community and felt suitably humbled.

So, I hope I'll be able to contribute something vaguely amusing along with meeting some interesting people. Because my egomania assures me if you do things like this you are interesting.

I've been reading a few completed baitings and have just embarked on wasting some time for a vlad. After reading a few things here I may have made some basic errors so will be looking for a little help as currently there are NO MENTORS AVAILABLE.

It seems to be going well but at the moment I'm going in bareback so any PM'd advice on profalactics and safe baiting would be VERY timely. I have a plan, a back story, a name and a goal so I look forward to chatting.

Having had a little look around I think I need an IP stripping email account. I'm a UK'er so any suggestions? I need to move from a home bt account email. I'm thinking a furious email from my Dad should make the move acceptable. He's a policeman don't you know!

Hi, LovePickle, and welcome to Eater!

You shouldn't post your baiter name in the parts of the site visible to outsiders (which include this part) without changing some letters to make it difficult to search. For instance, you can substitute the letter "g" with "ց", which is Armenian for "ts'", so search engines won't recognize it as "g". Or you can use Greek or Cyrillic letters; even if they're the corresponding letter, it still messes up the search engines.

I just did a Google search for my baiter names. No hits on Eater, though I have a published bait publicly visible (they are publicly visible so that people can google the scammers' names, which are unaltered).

Have you made an untraceable email account yet? Some baiters use Gmail; others use proxies.

Thanks guys for your input. It's much appreciated. I'm a member of some other forums, (not baiter related!), and understand the level of smarts available. I also pay back when I can!

I don't have an anonymous email yet but I'm working on it. I've been told Tor is an option? Not sure what that is just yet but I'm just off to do a search on that...

For a first visit, it's amazingly hard to trust you guys! Laughing

I feel like I'm in the lions den! I know that's something I'll get over because we're all here for the same thing but it's a weird counter-intuitive feeling.

Hmmm, you guys are all so right, (thanks for the cautionary restraint Pastor Frank). There's Dr. Timothy with his, I only signed up yesterday and then there's a 2007 veteran Pastor Frank... (@ Dr. - We can still be tight bro'!!!)

There is plenty of time to learn, and share too. However, I wouldn't want to waste my own time with a counter-baiter.

If mentors are available then I'll seek them out, (thanks Morgaine). If this delays my sharing then that's how it'll be I'm afraid, (prudence may have to prevail). This internet stuff is serious man!!!!
