Hello all!

I became obsessed with this site about 5 months back, but decided not to post anything until I had at least one straight bait under my belt!

Well after much 419eater lurking, Bait reading, Eater University-ing (or however you turn that into a verb), and a month and a half into said first straight bait, I just can't wait any longer, and so I break my self-imposed silence to make the following profound statement;

Wow baiting is so much fun!

I just discovered the whole world of scambaiting and I'm intrigued. I'm not nearly as creative as the people on here but I'm hoping to learn from you all.

I do have a question, if anyone can answer. I made my username on here the same as my first email I set up to scambait. Should I ask the admins on here to change it to something else completely different? I'm not sure if they google the name if it will lead them to this site and blow my cover.

We always recommend to use either Gmail, Hushmail, or Fastmail for anonymous baiting. Other email providers show your IP = location.

As to mrcsmmrs8's question: Yes, sometimes lads do a Google search for your email address, and Google will direct them here. Just contact one of our moderators - their names are green - and tell them what name you prefer.

Hey, yet another noob introducing myself. I'm 'Lexi'.

I only found this page while in the middle of a bait; so it's great to see so many other people who find it as hillarious as I do.

I've currently got a lady trying to courier african grey parrots to me for just the up front fee of £200. It's amazing. I've only been emailing them for a fwe days, but I haven't lost them yet, so thats a good start for me!

Hi I'm 123456789. After a scammer tried to scam the restaurant where I work, I did my research and found this site. I was surprised to discover the whole concept of scam baiting, and to see how scammers can be made to do such ridiculous things. It's awesome how there is a group out there to discourage and demoralize those who have hurt lives and businesses.

Trophies are not predictable. Keeping scammers away from victims is just as important and more rewarding. Start out straight baiting first and get comfortable.

I did this a while back, in 2007-2008 while I was at Uni. Crowning glory was an art bait trophy (painted picture of a local church) which unfortunately I never received due to moving address. Was reminded of it a few months ago when wiping a laptop (containing baiting pics) and just now got round to rejoining.

Love all you do and hope to get back into being part of the solution. Reckon i've forgotten a fair few tricks (couldn't remember my old baiting addys or membership on here for love nor money) and looking to learn some new ones.

As to your old user name: If you remember anything at all from your old baits published here, you could use our "Search" to track them down, thereby getting hold of your old name. Then contact a moderator to help you to your true identity. Very Happy
