Hello, i hope i am correct in posting here, my name is Meg and i am the wife of forum member Bombardier.
I would like to sadly announce that Mark, after a long battle with Colon Cancer and Crohns passed away on Sunday evening aged 43, he really was as mad as his scambaits of which he was very proud, although he stopped his email capers a while back he was always logged on reading (and Laughing at ) everyone elses escapades.
He leaves Me, and our 2 kids aged 12 and 8

First of all, my very sincere condolences to you and your family, and I can say without hesitation that Bombardier will be very much missed, and remembered with fondness.
I shared many emails/PMs with Mark, and he contributed an awful lot to this site, including some of the funniest scammer videos seen, two of my favourites being the two part 'Colt Seavers vs The Unknown Stuntman':

Bombardier's 'Colt Seavers' stuntman video bait is an all-time classic, hugely funny and served as a huge inspiration to me (and I'm sure many others).
He will be sorely missed by us all here.

I am so sorry for your loss, Meg -- my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mark was one of the very best and an inspiration to us all. If I'm having a bad day, all I need do is watch one of Mark's stuntman videos (the one with the lad running up and down the street with his pants on fire is my fav!) and I'm instantly cheered.
Mark was very much admired and respected here on Eater. My condolences to you and your family in this difficult time, and thank you for undertaking the undoubtedly painful task of letting us know, it is greatly appreciated.
