As I've told you before, please don't piss off corporations with deep pockets and keen lawyers - Disney, Murdoch, Maccy D's, whoever on Eater.

That said, Professor Ikida clearly understands more about science than successful marketing.

For what it's worth... I actually ate a Big Mac yesterday. Seriously. I did and I ain't too proud to admit it. And McDonalds still has the best damn french fries anywhere. I hope the McLawyers can take a joke.

Best of all: Big dirty burger off a van in a layby somewhere, its origins are even more dubious than Macdonalds and BK but it tastes better for the mystery.

Lots of people set up roadside BBQ stands in this part of the world. Usually some dude pulling a big-ass smoker behind a pickup truck. Some of the best Q I've ever had has come from these rigs.

@Raga Man I like McDonald's but the new Wendy's French Fries are awesome. You are right about the roadside BBQ's set up and those BBQ places that look like dives. There is one in Georgia near St. Simons Island that looks like the windows have never been washed EVER and the owners look and talk like products of incestuous relationships! But the food is fabulous

One of my favorite BBQ spots is a joint called Frog's Place. It isn't a trailered smoker rig but just a window off to the side of a convenience store out in the middle of nowhere. Best pulled pork sandwich anywhere. I'm makin' myself hungry. Laughing

^^^ Insofar as pulled pork, I have been told I make the best pulled pork . I have an indoor smoker by Cameron which uses various small wood chips. Now I am getting hungry. Laughing

What i think is scary, with our own diets we probably in any given year consume far worse.

I think science is important, and we should do our bit, so we should ask lads to sample the raw ingredients and find additives to make the meal more palitable. Two lads one meal. Rinse recycle repeat.
