But of course monsieur! Most Canucks build tiny little shacks that they tow out on the ice. Google "ice fishing hut" and you will find thousands. They make a hole in the floor through the ice just big enough for the swimmers and to pull out the big muskellunge - big as sharks. Yarr!

Canadians rarely talk about the negative side of ice fishing. With all the diving in the frigid water the ear drums tend to freeze causing the vast majority of us to walk about saying "eh?" . . . "eh?"
