Ok, I read the thread http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=203237&highlight=websites
I am searching and trying to compare a free or almost free website and hosting for it. I have Windows Live for my Dibley wesbite, but they are going to start charging despite what you find when you google them about a free website.
My other site is for iPROD and it is on webs.com and has the adverts on it.
I am trying to find one without the adverts that is free or negligible cost.
Plus I am asking my fellow baiters is their opinions on the various websites that are free/almost free with and hopefully not having to purchase a domain name and maybe free hosting that you are using.
My current sites are re-direct to .tk.
OK, open for you opinions and preferences and pitfalls of which you are aware

I've been happy with co.cc. You can have two free domains. You have to create your site some elsewhere (f.ex. on webs.com) but it is easy to re-direct it. Moreover, there are no ads and the domain looks professional enough. |

^^^ And a good alternative to that, is .tk domains, which allows you to create custom mail addies to forward to your Gmail accounts (or whichever webmail you may use).  |

When i used to make websites when i was younger, i would use freewebs, which im guessing is now webs.
For the domain, i used .co.nr
Its completely free, however you need to add recognition to .co.nr somewhere on your website.
Theres no ads, or popups either and very quick to sign up.

I like 000webhost.com I have a couple baiting sites hosted there. I did not use their free templates but from what I have seen they look about like the ones on webs probably good enough to fool a lad 
You can do email forwarding to a gmail account or use their webmail. No ads and all free. |
