Hello people! Im a new user to the forums but very familiar with the " i won a squillion quid" scams. With the amount of consignments i supposedly inherited i should set myself up and retire! heres a message i received a short while ago if anyone wants a bit of fun...

The only transfers im aware from my account of are the ones at the bar everytime i swiped my card in exchange for a round!

I think you should give scambaiting a try, it's fun and a good deed

if you want to scambait, apply for a mentor, read the stickies and pretty much everything at eater university

remember the golden rule: bait safe, never give any real details to the scammers (aka lads), use an email adress that can't be traced back to you

its something i been looking at for a while but havent quite pursued it yet. with the widespread knowledge of the many different scams knocking around im surprised people still fall for it. we get loads of messages similar to the one above clogged on our email filtering system at work. i clicked the link using a pc in a firewall based dmz and it appears to be some kind of dodgy bank. i wonder if they take muntercard or monopoly express!

That's a phishing email (not baitable) and it looks like someone already reported it since the links no longer works.
