Yeah i saw an article on this, apparently someone has also set up a post rapture pet insurance to guarantee that one of the doomed on earth will look after your pet once you ascended to heaven.

i have a theory about the mayan calender ending in 2012 anyway. As they were all carved in stone, i assume after they had carved nearly 2000 years of calender they got fed up and stopped, 2000 years of advance warning for when the tax year starts, and public holidays is surely enough for any culture??? As an amateur astronomer, 2012 is the only one I'm worried about. A lot of planets line up on the 21st Dec. That's a lot of gravity pulling in one direction. Even Newton worked out that event might cause trouble, and he knew what he was talking about. Shocked

I posted that one up on 3 Feb. and I can never decide if it's a scam or not.
Anyway, when the Rapture is brought up in conversation, I end up struggling not to giggle.
