Not all Nigerians are scammers, there are millions out there that are working hard to make sure the 419ners are apprehended. I live in Nigeria and had almost fallen victim here in Nigeria. They scam any vulnerable person they come across, EVEN WE NIGERIANS. |

in this context "box" definitely means email box, and "bomb" means sending out loads of scam formats at once. We see these terms a lot around here.
As to the alternative translation provided, here we have a case where the terms are specifically used in scam contexts, which may differ from the more general pidgin use. Scam jargon if you will. |

Ok, I understand better now.
Those dialects you just mentioned are minority even in Nigeria. I don't understand none of them.
I can help with Hausa, little Yoruba and of course pidgin English.
