Got a very odd email today in my catcher account, apparently Dr John Zoidbergs brother Michael has been killed, and i need to send off death certificates and so on yet i havent got a bait about my none existant brothers death going !!?? Not sure where to go with this Confused

I am assuming they think you will want to make the claim, but (for obvious reasons) do not have these documents. For a small fee, I am sure they can assist you.

One response would be to send them a document they cannot open and assure them everything they require is inside. That should get them off script pretty quickly.

(Someone else may have more experience with this particular script.)

Yes, lads send ASEMs, as well. I've seen some of them - also for other scam types - pretending to be in the middle of an ongoing transaction. As soon as I answered, they sent me the initial email; the transaction was right back to the start.

I have been seeing a lot of this sort of format lately and baiting a few. You're right on target, IM. When you write back and say you don't have some of the documents he wants, he will soon either offer to obtain them (for a fee) or he will provide them and then ask for fees to file them with the court (or some similar BS).

I have started to see those myself. Yeah kinda new style of ASEM. Just say I have scanned everything in a .pdf, and go to http://www.xn3t.s3/fd/ (yes 3 = e ). Make a 95.7 meg .pdf file for him to download and proceed to bait the crap out of him Twisted Evil

You know I wonder if yahoo mail will let me send a gig file to them next... Mwahahahahahahahahaha!!!
