Mail fraud case?

I received an FBI scam email and decided to have fun. The guy wanted me to send $ via Western Union. I told him I was unable to do that and asked if I could send payment any other way. He came back with a name and address at a government office (I will not name to keep private) and said I should mail a money order and let him know what the tracking number is. I verified the address on Google maps and found the address is the loading dock of the building and not the main address.

Am I correct in assuming that an employee at this government office is picking up mail via the loading dock address? Is it worth calling the government office or the postal inspector to see if they are interested in a sting?

Welcome kilroy20! I used to work on loading docks and I was a long haul trucker for 7 years. I think it is very possible that you have someone who is scamming and trying to cheat the system. Ditto. Get a hold of the mods. They will know what to do.
