They call it "hand-egg" here. I am partial to the reigning World champs, personnally. Kind of a shame about the lock-out and all. Wish they could not go the way of the MLB. |

I'm a football junky, but not NFL. It's all CFL for me, although I'll watch NFL games if they're on and CFL and NHL aren't. |

Fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets here.
This year I haven't been keeping up like last year though - completely missed the draft.
My first baiting character was a retired running back, which explains why he had knee problems. |

Due to my location I am required to be a Patriots fan, I would be if I followed Football (hand egg)
But I am a baseball (more interesting, less confusing cricket) person, and a fan of two teams (Dodgers and Red Sox) again due to geographical reasons.
We could turn this into a baseball thread since it's the season and there is no lock-out currently. |

Besides from the obvious question of what do the Raiders have to do with any discussion about the NFL, I'm another one who is hoping they get their act squared away in time to have a season.
Mrs.Fryer and I are already trying to decide what the heck we're going to do on Sundays if there's no Football. I'm crunching fantasy numbers right now! |

About being a fan of two teams, well, the simplistic answer is one NFC and one AFC team.
The real answer is more complex. There's a sort of gradation of teams, that I like some more than others, some are indifferent, some are downright hateful to me, and so forth.
Same thing happens in real football.
Also, green is my favorite color but I can't stand the Packers' helmets. |
