The Easter Bunny has been here!

The Easter Bunny has visited 419Eater and hidden Easter egg icons in the signatures of more than 50 members. (It's up to you to determine exactly how many.) Wink

The Admins and Mods are holding a contest for members to find them. The contest winner will receive a one year premium membership. (Transferrable if already premium).

Contest rules as follows:

The winner will be the member who has found the highest number of icons by the close of the contest on Sunday, April 24th at 9pm EDT (Eastern US Time, GMT-4) In the event of a tie or more than one member finding all of the icons, the member who submitted the information first will be determined the winner.
Easter egg images are hidden in the signature lines of members who have actively posted on the forum since March 1, 2011.
NOTE: some 2010 egg recipients have elected to keep theirs in their signatures. These old eggs do not count in this year's contest! This was last year's egg: Only the 2011 egg counts in this year's contest. It looks like this:
Submissions should be in the form of an email containing a list of the usernames of the members whose sig lines contain the eggs. (Please alphabetize the list.)
Please send all submissions to [email protected] by April 24, 9 PM EDT, GMT-4. Be sure to include your Eater member name in the subject line! Also include "I have found xx eggs."
The Winner will be announced once all entries have been checked, likely by Monday, April 25th.

Note: If you find an egg in your own signature, please do not advertise it. Very Happy

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or does the egg show up in some post but not others in a members siggy. Confused

^^^^ I've seen that as well and I think that's the case if a member added a siggy recently...the egg isn't in the old posts since there wasn't a siggy attached to the post.

To those reading this and think that some members had an unfair start because of the time the Egg Hunt started; let me tell you that most of them are asleep at the moment and there is not yet a member who has found the exact number of eggs. - there are more than 50.

Some have come close, and some seem to have found more than there are, (I don't know how they manged that ) Confused

*sigh* So very true GreyAmadeus, i am jealous. That's why i shot him in the back when he went past me without giving my one. But then the strangest thing happened, i went to inspect the corpse (and take the eggs) and i saw that the Easterbunny was in fact a squirrel. Odd

At the risk of seeming to pander, may i say a word about the Eater Easter Egg Hunt?

Last year I was hot on the trail and certain I'd win (I did not). But what happened was I visited other forums that I'd not been in before. In the hunt for eggs I started reading and began to understand that there are so many different ways to participate. I wound up in Fake Banks and Sites forum and wondered, what are they doing? It's fascinating! I will admit to everyone here that I don't have the patience nor the imagination it takes for baiting. But I have the patience (most of the time, anyway) to write reports and see that fake sites are suspended.

My nerdy way of thanking Ima for leading me to my 'niche' with last year's egg hunt, and I hope you all find it rewarding, too. Also my nerdy way of saying check out other forums, read what they do and what they're about -- the depth and breadth of the members here are nothing short of phenomenal.

I stand in good company. Thumbs up

^^^I agree completely Fae. In hunting for eggs I found myself deep in a number of fascinating Love/Dating threads. That forum was not one I visited often, but after spending considerable time laughing so hard I was crying I'll be going back a lot more often.

And again here. I don't know why I have not kept up with the romance forum perhaps because love lads are not my cup of tea but Phil Yerboots and Sweet Poetry's baits are killing me. I spent a couple hours reading the last couple days and I know there are more must read baits in there.
